Hey Councillors!
We are invited to
participate in a grassroot collaboration. It is about a TV programme focusing
on Driving Change. This programme is part of
Caltex Chevron CSR across 6 regions in the world - including Singapore,
Philippines and Hongkong. In each region the TV programme will focus on a
different unique issue - for instance in Philippines the programme will be on
the issues faced by the poor living in the smoky mountains. In Singapore, the
focus will be on empathy for the elderly. What Caltex intends to do in
Singapore is to raise funds from the sale of food packs for donation to the
elderly and to instill a sense of empathy towards elderly issues in the
young.
Hence we will be involved in 2 days of
filming:
3 Nov
Saturday -
from around 830am to 11am to simulate packing of
grocery packs
4 Nov
Sunday -
from ard 1030am to 3pm to participate in the
appreciation lunch for the elderly. They also hope we can put up a performance
item during the lunch.
